Biking Babes Brigade
The Biking Babes Brigade (BBB is building momentum and recruiting additional riders. We have multiple riding options to match every pedaling preference! We’ve enjoyed several great rides and are working to establish a regular rhythm. Whether you’re powered by leg power alone or a boost of electricity, and want to ride single track trails, gravel roads, or paved surfaces, we’ve got a group for you:) Trail Blazers (E-Mountain Bikes) – Our most active crew! These ladies are conquering trails and dirt roads with their electric mountain bikes (e-MTBs) and having a blast doing it.
Pavement Cruisers (Electric Bikes) – For those who prefer smooth surfaces and electric assist, this group explores paved paths and roads with ease. We need additional riders to get this group going.
Gravel Grinders (Non-Motorized) – Ready to tackle gravel roads and rougher terrain the old-fashioned way? Bring your gravel bike or non-motorized mountain bike and join the adventure. Rides often take place east of Greenland where the dirt road options are plentiful.
Road Warriors (Non-Motorized Pavement) – For traditional road or bike path biking enthusiasts . We are currently seeking our first riders—be a founding member! I have heard there is interest with a Perry Park crew to have paved rides in the neighborhood. Reach out so we can get that started.
How It Works: Rides happen organically when members reach out to coordinate! I maintain rosters for each existing sub-group group and will make new rosters for Pavement Cruisers or Road Warrors. So if you’re interested in any (or all!) of these riding styles, let me know and I’ll connect you with fellow riders. We’re flexible and happy to plan rides whenever nice weather beckons—yes, even during winter!
All abilities welcome! These are no-drop rides, so you can feel comfortable building your skills and endurance in a friendly and supportive environment.
Want to ride? Contact elizabethsnow9@hotmail.com to join and help us plan the next adventure.
